Egg Yolk Waffles

If you are tired of lettuce wraps, here's the delicious low carb alternative you have been waiting for.

Egg yolk waffles are not only delicious to eat with syrup but are great for breakfast sandwiches or even with a burger.

This is a great base that you can add additional ingredients to. The waffles

can be made either savory or sweet.


  • 4 egg yolks

  • 1 tablespoon of melted fat (butter, ghee, tallow, bacon grease, etc.)

  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder


Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until well combined. Pour mixture into waffle maker and follow your specific waffle maker directions for cooking.

The batter creates one full size waffle with my Oster Waffle Maker. This would create approximately 3 waffles in a Dash Mini Waffle Maker.
